I Think I Had A Thought:

(Complicatingly Uncomplicated)

 

I think I had a thought

So I thought while I was thinking

And the thought I thought I thought

Had to do with something sinking

 

This sinking thing that sank

Sunk me deeper into thought

Until I debunked the sunken bunk

To bank on new bunk that I sought

 

I promised no more premise

A premise promise premature

So with certainty I most certainly

Assured myself I was unsure

 

Now this subject subjects me

To reject all of my objections

And make a beeline to the point

In the most indirect directions

 

if my thoughts come to a point

Where I can’t pry the points apart

I’ll just rethink what I am thinking

Until the thinking stops to start
