Frog Went A Courtin’
Drat the changes in emotional ranges
Enough with the dancing toy poodle
Screw the deceivers and all non-believers
Who see themselves with a bent noodle
Shoo all the skeeters and insincere greeters
Is there someone whose word one can trust?
There's too many aisles of dysfunctional smiles
Offering promises that crumble to dust
The frog once well spoken resorted to croakin’
Perhaps from swallowing too many bad flies?
Diminished to sadness from most vexing madness
That resulted from his high hopes demise
Show him the door and tell him the score
That confirms sheer and utter defeat
He loved all he could and it did him no good
It’s a rigged universe he just couldn’t beat
