One Thought

 

You can interrupt my silence

Roam within my reverie

I’m only wandering along a path

Inside around and out of me

 

I seek the soul of spirit

Crave my spirit being sought

Beyond all refuse is an essence

Beyond all essence is one thought

 

Persevere by light of hope

Conquer all that leads to doubt

The greatest love imagined

Sleeps till woken to come out

 

It lies nestled in your dreams

Builds its strength from all its falls

Until the right one reaches in

Helps knock down all the walls

 

When there’s nothing left to hold back

And your true light breaks on through

It lifts the spirit free to soar

And beckons more to soar with you
