Two Wrongs
Once a wishing
Now a curse
Two hearts adrift
From lack and thirst
Meshing tangling
Lovelorn prone
The growth of distance
To default of loan
A broken dream
Wakes reality
To the loss of shape
Where the hope should be
No one to blame
No shame nor dirt
Just two apart
To shed their hurt
The sadness wells
And the regrets cry
For the time they lent
To where the memories fly
They leave what was
Accept what’s gone
Renew their spirits
To move further on
They lay to rest
What has lost its light
To give two wrongs
Another chance at right
